ABOUT DIANA FAHMIE
South Florida Native. Nature Lover. Business Owner. Wife. Mother and Grandmother.
Born in Miami Beach and raised partly in the Florida Keys, Diana developed a lifelong love of and appreciation for our unique coastal environment.
She attended FIU and holds a B.S. degree in Hospitality Management. Her experience ranges from the restaurant business, to owning an online natural baby products business (launched while raising her 4 young children), then real estate and helping her husband rebrand and relaunch his floral business (My Flower Stand in Hollywood). She is currently the president of her networking group and is a mentor to the agents on her real estate team.
She and her very supportive (bad-Dad-joke-telling) husband Chris own a home in Dania Beach where they live with their two rescue cats (Bubba, Forest), their three dogs (Angel,Mia,Lady) and son, Jonathan.

Protection of Designated Conservation and Environmental Protection areas
Responsible waterfront development that safeguards natural ecosystems

Collaborate with Broward County and conservation organizations
Improve drainage and flood mitigation projects

South Florida native. Realtor. Ecology advocate. Mother and grandmother.
Diana has spent over 20 years working in real estate across South Florida, giving her a deep understanding of development, infrastructure challenges, and the importance of protecting neighborhood character.
Born in Miami Beach and raised partly in the Florida Keys, Diana developed a lifelong appreciation for the coastal environment, especially the mangroves that help define the identity of our region.
Today she lives in Dania Beach with her husband Chris, their son Jonathan, their rescue cats, and three dogs.

Why Am I Running?
Dania Beach deserves leadership that understands mindful development, environmental stewardship, and community values.
As a Miami native and lifelong Floridian, I have seen how responsible planning and thoughtful leadership can strengthen a community. I've also seen how irresponsible leadership and backdoor politics can negatively impact quality of life for parts of a community.
I am running for a City Commission seat to help ensure Dania Beach grows thoughtfully, sustainably, and responsibly while protecting what makes our small town (within a big county) unique as well as protecting the quality of life for all our residents - North, South, East, and West.
